Paul The Programmer

Well what can I say? Not tall, dark or handsome. Short, fat and average just about does it!

I'm a thirty something guy from North East England (near Geordie-land, though I'm a Mackem - if you live here you'll know what this means) who likes to laugh (mostly at myself). I'm Married, my long suffering wife clearly must be crazy to put up with me (I think she's certifiable). I've 5 marvellous children, all of whom have taught me more than I could ever teach them. They're funny, happy, active and more work than anyone could possibly imagine.

I like learning to speak (read 'croak') foreign languages, most recently I took to deciphering Bulgarian (български)– man that Cyrillic alphabet is a hoot if you want to crack up sooner rather than later.

I enjoy writing, teaching programming (VBA mainly) and reading while taking a bath (the reading bit, not the teaching - you people, honestly). I'm also pretty good at writing VBA programs for Microsoft Office, which is how I make what little money I do, most of the time.

I'm also an active member (Membership Co-ordinator) for Cookson BNI in South Shields, North East England BNI is the largest networking organisation of its type, its where I get a lot of business referrals.
